This rant reminds me why Linux has limited penetration. Its user base is made up of opinionated users who view compromise along the way to something larger as a moral failure.


People saw what happened when you compromise with the ad companies. Remember when Google was good?


Some things are absolutely worth refusing to compromise on.


If other users are happy with Windows then theirs not the culture I want Linux to ever adopt.
