That really sucks for all those that donated gear to the museum thinking the machines would be in good hands there.

Agreed. After I visited, I decided that that was the best way to preserve the fun of old computers and finally recycled my old Gateway 2000 tower from 1995 since they had like dozens of them there. Now I feel that I should have kept it.
