So T3 code but self customizable?

I feel like this is similar to what Work Louder makes? Am I tripping?

I've been told that Darktable is more powerful than RAWtherapee and thus the learning curve is worth it, so I switched from Rawtherapee to Darktable.

I've been liking Darktable

I found Darktable absolutely amazing, although the learning curve is incredibly steep.

Some ex-maintainers hated the direction of Darktable and thus made their own fork, namely https://github.com/aurelienpierreeng/ansel

Original founder of darktable, hanatos, went and made vkdt which fixes a bunch of my pet peeves with darktable:

https://jo.dreggn.org/vkdt/

* Vulkan instead of OpenCL has way better performance.

* Graph-based editing akin to Blender. This fixes the issue of it being annoying and weird to reorder modules in darktable

It is, of course, still early on in its development and way less mature and featureful than Darktable.

A new JS framework in the big 26?

> Doing testing with it now, specifically for image->html conversion.

I wonder if there exists a benchmark for that.

This was originally implemented wayyy before AI got good; I just never bothered to package it for HN until today.

Also, it was an excuse to learn Unity :P

A faster streaming protocol is definitely up next though

How is this different from what that feature OpenRouter does?

Not much probably but I'd rather my agentic system route to model choice (happy to use OpenRouter as a catalog) than something in the cloud. I.e. pi.dev routes > call this and it decides based on today's algo. In other words routing should be in my source code not yours.

it's useful on planes (that was my personal use case). also, privacy

I mean...it isn't that bad. The actual limitation is the resolution of your smartphone screen
